Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club has announced the reassignment of two forwards to reach the roster limit of 25 players. Adam Rossignol will be reassigned to the BCHL while Filip Vasko will return to his club team in Slovakia.
Rossignol came to the Pats from the Swift Current Broncos prior to the start of the regular season and suited up for all 44 games with the Pats this season. The Surrey, B.C. native scored nine goals and added five assists for the Pats this season.
Vasko was acquired by the Pats in a recent deal with the Red Deer Rebels and didn’t see any game action in Regina.
The Pats thank both Adam and Filip for their contributions to the organization and community during their time in Regina and wish them the best going forward.

Phil, would you know if the Pats will be seeking compensation for Vasko? It appears the injury he came here with was more severe than reported.
I doubt it but who knows. Vasko was healthy for the last few weeks but there just wasnt a spot for him in the lineup with the other guys coming back from injuries.
