Pat Canadians 6 Maulers 5 OT

The Regina Pat Canadians hosted the Yorkton RawTech Maulers in White City on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.  The Pat Canadians came back from a 5 – 1 deficit to win 6 -5 in overtime with Justin Dubecky scoring with a minute and 23 seconds left in overtime. 

Yorkton led 2 – 0 after the first period and 5 – 3 after the second period, the Pat C’s tied it up at the 16:52 mark of the third period, with Owen Sillinger scoring his third goal of the night – also had a helper on Brown’s goal..  

Scoring the other goals for Regina was Tyran Brown and Trent Luby.  Riley Mohr had two assists in the game. 

Curtis Meger of the Pat Canadians stopped 42 – 47 shots.

Scoring for Yorkton were Brennan Watson with 2, Dryson Skulmoski, Tyler Stratechuk, and MacKenzie Welke had single goals.  Carson Welke had three assists in the game.

Rylan Palchewich and Carter Phair shared the goaltending duties, with Palchewich stopping 16 of 17 shots, while Phair stopped 12 of 18 shots he faced.

The next home game for the Regina Pat Canadians is Saturdya, October 4th, when they host he Telus Cup Champions thPrince Albert Raiders.  Then of Sunday, October 5th, they play the Saskatoon Contacts.  Both games are at the Cooperators Arena and start time is 7:30 PM on both nights.
