Scott Douglas to return as Red Sox Manager

The Regina Red Sox announced today Moose Jaw native Scott Douglas will be returning as Head Coach of the team for the 2015 season. In 2014 the Red Sox won the Eastern division pennant with the second best record in the league (30-16). After defeating Yorkton in the first round of playoffs the Red Sox lost to the Swift Current Indians in the league semi-final Douglas was the Red Sox Head coach for the in 2006 and 2007, the 2nd and 3rd years the Red Sox were in the Western Major Baseball League. 
“We are pleased that Coach Douglas will be returning for another year” said General Manager Bernie Eiswirth. 
The Red Sox also announced former head coach Rob Cherepuschak will be back for a Fourth year as the Director of Player Personnel.
