Blades acquire Coghlan from Raiders

General Manager and Head Coach Bob Woods announced today that the Saskatoon Blades have reacquired defenceman Ryan Coghlan from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a seventh round pick in the 2015 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Coghlan appeared in 35 games with the Blades last season, recording four goals, 10 points and 14 penalty minutes before being traded to the Raiders on Dec. 28, 2013, where he added one goal, three points and 21 penalty minutes in 22 games.

The ’95-born blueliner, who was reassigned to Junior A on Sept. 25, had two penalty minutes and a +2 rating in two games with the Raiders this season.
