Pat Canadians win both weekend Games

The Regina Pat Canadians  were on the road this weekend on Saturday they played the Beardy’s Blackhawks and skate to a 7 – 2 victory.  On Sunday afternoon  they played  the Prince Albert Mintos in Prince Albert, and came away with a 6 – 0 victory. 

On Saturday evening they played the Beardy’s Blackhawks at the Willow Cree Arena and come away with a 7 – 2 victory.

Scoring for Regina were: Jake Tesarowski with 2 goals and 1 assist, with singles by Bryce Platt, Ryan Roberts, Tyran Brown, Riley Woods and Arthur Miller.

Clarke Flegel stopped 30 of 32 shots directed his way in earning the victory

The Beardy’s Blackhawks goal scorers were Chase Daniels and Nick Shumlanski

Kody Kushniruk stopped 31 of 38 shots. 

Saturday, the Pat C’s travelled to Prince Albert to play their 2nd weekend game vs the Mintos and skated to a 6 – 0 victory.  Curtis Meger earned the shut out.  

Curtis Meger stopped all 18 shots in earning the victory.

The goal scorers for the Pat Canadians were Blake Dempsey with a single and two assists, Connor Chaulk., Arthur Miller, Bryce Platt, Mark Edmands and Owen Sillinger.  Ty Barnstable added two assists.  

For the PA Mintos Derrick Hucul stopped 24 of 30 shots. 

The Pat Canadians are on the road again on Tuesday, October 21stwhen they travel to Swift Current to play the Legionnaires. 

The next home game for the Regina Pat Canadians is Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 4:30 PM vs the Tisdale Trojans.
