Senior VP of Hockey Operations and Head Coach John Paddock says Regina Pats Captain, Kyle Burroughs was back on the ice Wednesday after missing Saturday's game in Prince Albert with an upper body injury.

Burroughs was the recipient of a hit from the Warriors Linden Penner on Friday night and left the game late in the first period and did not return.

He had an assist and was a plus 1 before exiting with 30 seconds left in his first period of the season with the Blue and White.

The 19 year old defenceman is looking to get back into the lineup for this weekends games. The Pats host Prince Albert Saturday night at the Brandt Centre at 7 o'clock and the Red Deer Rebels Sunday at 6 PM.

No update on the status of 20 year old forward Logan McVeigh who has missed the last two games with a lower body injury.

great news for the Pats defense, im very interested in seeing what is going to happen with Hansen. If I recall correctly he has yet to play a game at forward as he has been filling in on defense which he has looked alright at as he is a bigger body back there who can skate and has that forward instinct to jump into the rush.
