“We feel that Gage can play amongst our top six forwards and will help some of our young forwards,” said General Manager, Stu MacGregor. “He is a skilled player, and was a key player the Rockets added last season to help them win the WHL Championship.”

The Blazers also announced that they have put 20-year-old forward Luke Harrison on WHL waivers. Harrison played in 89 career games with the Blazers and had 24 points.

“We’d like to thank Luke for his contributions to our hockey club,” commented Head Coach, Don Hay. “We wish him the best with his future endeavours.”

The Blazers roster now sits at 25 players including four 20-year-olds. The deadline to declare three 20-year-olds is on Thursday, October 15th at 9:00am Pacific Time
