Rockstar by Royal LePage Recap: COLTS 17 THUNDER 3

The Regina Thunder saw their season come to an end on Sunday afternoon in a 17-3 loss to the Calgary Colts at Mosaic Stadium. The Thunder turned the ball over 9 times in the playoff loss.

Quarterback Jaeden Marwick was forced the leave the game after taking a head shot and gave way to backup Sawyer Beuttner.

In the first quarter the Thunder went up 2-0 when the Colts gave up a safety at 14:18.

In the second the Colts took the lead on a Kyle Brick touchdown catch at 3:44 and it was 7-3. That was the score at halftime.

In the Thunder got a punt single from Kris Calcutt and trailed 7-3 but the Colts scored another touchdown at 12:58 when Dylan Minshull punched one in along the ground and it was 14-3. That was the score after 3.

The Colts added a field goal in the 4th and took the game 17-3. Calgary moves on to the PFC Championship in Saskatoon against the Hilltops next Sunday.
