The Lead Up
The Regina Pats offense exploded on Friday night in an 8-5 victory over the Red Deer Rebels at the Brandt Centre. Adam Brooks finished with a 4 assist night, Chase Harrison with the game winner and 2 helpers as the Pats got back to 500 on the year posting a season high in goals for.
The Lethbridge Hurricanes were in Brandon last night and were outshot 45-29 in a 4-1 loss. The Canes got the games first goal on the powerplay but the Wheat Kings took the lead in the 3rd on a shorthanded goal. Brandon added two into an empty net for the victory. Lethbridge has dropped two in a row.
Williams Fantastic in Return
The Pats captain and Washington Capitals prospect Colby Williams had an immediate impact in his first game of the season. The 20-year-old defenceman scored a goal, added an assist, was a plus 3 and laid a massive hit on the Rebels Grayson Pawlenchuk and was named the games 1st star in the victory. Williams had missed the first 16 games of the season with an upper body injury.

Powerplay Snaps Cold Streak
The Pats powerplay had been held off the board since their last game of their Central Division road trip against the Kootenay Ice on October 20th. A span of 5 straight games without a goal. However on Friday the man advantage scored three times against the Rebels who entered the game with the 12th best penalty kill in the WHL. The Pats now had 12 goals on the season with the man advantage.
Lethbridge Lead Season Series
The Hurricanes won the first meeting of the season between the two clubs back on October 14th in Lethbridge 6-4. Both the Hurricanes Tyler Wong and the Pats Adam Brooks scored hattricks in the contest. Letbridge overcame a 3-2 deficit in the 3rd, scoring 4 times and picking up the two points.
