The Lead Up
The Pats won their second straight game over a top 10 CHL team on Sunday at the Brandt Centre, 5-3 over the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Adam Brooks, Austin Wagner and Sean Richards each had two points in the victory while Tyler Brown stopped 33 of 36 shots faced.

The Medicine Hat Tigers won their last game over the Kootenay ice 6-3 on Saturday. Mack Shields made his Tigers debut and stopped 21 of 24 shots for the win. Ty Stanton, Chad Butcher and Cole Sanford led the way offensively with two points a piece.

An Offensive Explosion
Heading into the weekend’s games the Pats had lost twice in a row, scoring just a single goal in both contests. The goal scoring woes went away against Red Deer and Lethbridge on Friday and Sunday. The Pats managed a season high 8 goals against the usually stingy Rebels on Friday and then followed that up with 5 more against the Hurricanes. The Pats have now scored 54 goals on the season, an average of 3.00 goals per game.

Richards Gets on the Board
Pats rookie forward out of St. Albert AB. Sean Richards recorded his first two points in the WHL on Sunday against Lethbridge. The first helper came on Jake Leschyshyn’s first goal of the season in the 1st period and then he set up Luc Smith who tied the game 2-2 early in the 3rd. Richards joined the Pats on October 23rd and has played 7 games so far on the year.

The Adam’s are Rolling
19-year-old Adam Brooks and 18-year-old Adam Berg have been a big part of the offense over the last two contests. Brooks who is the Pats leading scorer with 8 goals and 23 points had 6 helpers in the teams two wins. Berg meanwhile has rebounded after a slow start and had two goals and an assist in those games as well. Berg is up to 5 points on the season.

Woods Reassigned

The Pats announced they have sent forward Riley Woods back to the Regina Pat Canadians of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League. Woods had 2 goals and 4 points on the season with the Pats. The Regina roster now sits at 24.
