Canes trade White to Everett

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced today that forward Jaeger White has been traded to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a sixth round draft pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 1998-born forward appeared in 23 games this season with the Hurricanes totaling three points (1g-2a) along with seven penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating. In 68 career games with the ‘Canes, the Medicine Hat, AB, product scored a total of 19 points (5g-14a) and 17 penalty minutes.

White was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the fourth round (72nd overall) in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. The Hurricanes open up a six game road trip on Friday night when they visit the Brandon Wheat Kings. All six games can be heard on ROCK 106.

This guy put up some dynamic numbers in Bantam and was even talked about as a potential first rounder. If Everett can find his on switch, they might have a perpetrated a real steal here.

….reading Regan Bartel's blog it's pretty interesting to see his take on interviewing the opposing teams coach. Seems he couldn't care less about anything other than what the Rockets are doing. That's fine and his take but it comes off as a bit arrogant and condescending. Maybe that transplanted stubble jumper has got a little too far above his raising…. I'm glad you still do it as it shows class.
