KENT, December 7, 2015 - Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced the team has acquired right wing Josh Uhrich from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a fifth round selection in the 2016 Bantam Draft.
"Josh plays a physical game and adds enthusiasm as well as experience," said Farwell. "He is a 19-year-old with experience in the league and will be a good addition for our team as we head into the second half of the season."
This season Uhrich has four goals and three assists for seven points in 27 games with the Blades. Uhrich has appeared in 225 games over four seasons in the WHL with the Moose Jaw Warriors and the Blades and has 24 goals and 31 assists for 55 points with 310 penalty minutes.
