The Lead Up
The Pats put forward a strong effort at the Brandt Centre on Friday night in a 4-0 win over the Blades. Riley Woods led the way offensively with 2 goals while Chase Harrison added two helpers in the victory. Tyler Brown made 28 saves for his second career shutout.

What a Debut Robbie Holmes
Pats call-up forward Robbie Holmes played in his first ever WHL game last night against Saskatoon. In the 3rd period of the contest the 16-year-old gloved down a rebound off the cross bar and buried his first WHL goal to give the Pats the 4-0 lead. Holmes was an 11th round pick of the Pats back in 2014 and will play again tonight in Saskatoon.

Brown has Blades Number
Pats goaltender Tyler Brown shutout the Blades for the second time this season last night making 28 saves. In 5 starts against Saskatoon this year, Brown holds a 3-1-0-1 record with a 1.39 goals against average and a .955 save percentage.

Playoff Picture
The Pats with their win last night extended their lead over Saskatoon to 11 points with 23 games left in the regular season. The Medicine Hat Tigers and Edmonton Oil Kings both won last night as well so Regina sits 2 points ahead of Edmonton and 5 points up on the Tigers. The Moose Jaw Warriors lost their game last night and the Pats are within 6 points of 3rd in the East Division and 8 points back of Prince Albert for 2nd. The Blades enter the night 9 points back of Edmonton for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
