In the first period the Pats got off to a sleepy start and gave up the games first goal 1:40 in. Jordan Hollett stopped a dump in back of the net which was stolen by Parker Kelly and he centred for Jordan Tkatch who scored his 10th and it was 1-0. The Pats got that goal back when Jared McAmmond led a 2 on 1 on the left wing and ripped in his first of the year at 2:29 with assists to Sean Richards and Liam Schioler and it was 1-1. The tie game lasted just over 2 minutes until the Raiders got the lead back. Reid Gardiner snapped home his 22nd from the right circle with assists to Jesse Lees and Dalton Yorke at 4:34 to make it 2-1. Then at 8:01 P.A. made it 3-1 when Matteo Gennaro finished his own rebound with the lone assist to Reid Gardiner and that was it for Jordan Holetts night in the Pats goal. Tyler Brown replaced him and the first shot he faced went in. Sean Montgomery found a loose puck on the left side and scored his 10th from Jordan Tkatch and Parker Kelly and it was 4-1 Raiders at 9:41. They had just 8 shots on goal to that point. The Pats picked up a powerplay with 50 seconds left in the period but did not score and 1:10 carried over into the 2nd. The Raiders led 4-1 on the scoreboard and on the shot clock 16-7.

In the second the Raiders added to their lead at 8:53. Jesse Lees skated up the left side and scored his 14th from Matteo Gennaro and Brennan Riddle and it was 5-1, Then just as a powerplay expired the Raiders got it to 6-1. Tyler Brown took a shot in the face and was hurt, Cal Babych scored on the rebound for his 5th at 11:49. Brown left the game a short time later and Jordan Hollett re-entered the game. The Pats got one back shorthanded at 13:37. Austin Wagner scored his 4th shorty and 15th of the year at 13:37 from Adam Brooks and it was 6-2. Brooks extends his point streak to 11 games with the assist, up to 23 points over that stretch at that point. The Raiders took the 6-2 lead to the break, the shots on goal were 10-10 in the period and P.A. led overall 26-17.

In the third the Pats made it a 6-3 game on the poweprlay 59 seconds in. Sam Steel jammed in his 13th when Rylan Parenteau lost the puck in his skates in his crease. Assists to Lane Zablocki and Connor Hobbs. The game stayed that way until 17:28 when Reid Gardiner stole a pass in his own zone, skated up the right wing and buried his second of the game and 23rd of the year, unassisted to make it 7-3 and that was the final score. The Pats outshot the Raiders 10-8 in the period but trailed 34-27 overall.

The Pats powerplay was 1 for 3 in the game while the penalty kill was 5 for 5.

The Pats are off until Friday when they visit the Kootenay Ice at 8 o'clock on 620 CKRM.
