Seattle acquire Leth from Swift Current

KENT, January 4, 2016 - Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced the team has acquired center Cavin Leth from the Swift Current Broncos defenseman Sahvan Khaira.

"Leth is a hard working dynamic forward who can play all three forward positions and is a great addition for us heading into the playoffs this year," said Farwell. "This move also presents a good opportunity for Sahvan to step in a play a major role in the WHL and we wish him all the best."

Leth has six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 39 games this season. In three seasons with the Broncos Leth has 30 points on 15 goals and 15 assists in 159 games.

Khaira is in his second season with the T-Birds and has four assists in 34 games. He has played in 77 career games as a T-Bird and has one goal and six assists for seven points.
