Three Regina Pats among Central Scouting Midterm Rankings

The NHL's Central Scouting Service released it's midterm rankings for the 2016 Entry Draft on Tuesday morning. Three Regina Pats were among the North Americans ranked.

First Sam Steel came it at #29. The Sherwood Park product has 43 points in 46 games.

The WHL's leading scorer Adam Brooks who has 71 points on the year comes in at 107th in the rankings. This will be Brooks 3rd year of eligibility for the NHL draft.

Finally forward Adam Berg was the 155th ranked player in North America. Berg has 20 points in 45 games and the 2016 NHL draft will be his second time being eligible.

Forward Luc Smith and defenceman Liam Schioler who were among the players to watch list from November were not included in the mid term rankings.

Hard to believe Brooks overlooked 2X...a late bloomer?...hopefully the 3rd time will be a charm for him. With the year he is having somebody has to take a look don't they
Steel has everything but the size right now...kinda surprised still listed that high but good on him! Hasn't had the support around him all year I don't think so hopefully last half will see him shine along side Sanford.

A Berg is having a solid year with the help of his linemates for sure.

Good luck to all the rest of the season and in the June draft.
