In the second frame the Raiders got on the board early. Brendan Guhle with a heck of a shot from the right circle into the top corner for his 9th from Reid Gardiner and Jordan Tkatch at 1:10 and the Pats lead was 2-1. The Raiders continued to push after that but Tyler Brown made some massive saves and the Pats held on to that 2-1 lead after 40 minutes. Jake Leschyshyn had the best Pats chance in the frame on a breakaway but could not get it to go. The Raiders outshot the Pats 17-10 in the period and led 23-20 overall.

In the third period the Raiders tied the game at 4:19 on a delayed penalty call. Jordan Tkatch scored his 17th from Luke Coleman and Tim Vanstone and it was 2-2. The Pats powerplay got them the lead back. Adam Brooks tipped a point shot for his 30th from Jared Freadrich and Sean Richards at 7:16 and it was 3-2. It stayed that way until late when the Raiders pulled the goalie and that's when Adam Broosk completed his hattrick with his 31st of the year at 19:04.
