Pats - Rebels Game 2 Preview


The Regina Pats (4-2-0) look to bounce back from a 3-2 game 1 loss tonight against the Red Deer Rebels (5-1-0). The Pats gave up a 2-0 lead in the opening game of the series on Saturday night. Puck drop is at 5:00 with the pre-game at 4:35 on 620 CKRM.

The Lead Up
The Pats scored twice in the first period on the powerplay in game 1 thansk to Colby Williams and Cole Sanford on Saturday. The Rebels responded with two on the powerplay, 28 seconds apart in the second and then Evan Polei scored the eventual game winner in the 3rd. Tyler Brown made 28 saves in the loss and Adam Brooks had 2 assists. Colton Bobyk led the way for Red Deer with a goal and a helper while Trevor Martin made 19 saves for his 5th straight win in goal. 

Powerplay Success
