The Regina Thunder (2-1) host the Winnipeg Rifles (1-2) on Saturday in the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. The Thunder won in Winnipeg last week 58-6 and are tied for 2nd in the PFC. The Rifles meanwhile are tied for 4th with the Edmonton Huskies. Kickoff is at 7 PM Saturday at Leibel Field.

- Regina has scored 90 points in their first three games of the PFC season, that is third best in the league. QB Sawyer Buettner is 4th in passing yards with 692 and has 4 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Buettner is coming of his best game as a starter throwing for 296 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win over Winnipeg. Receiver Kris Calcutt leads the league in receiving yards with 237 and is tied for the lead in touchdowns receptions with 3. RB Victor St. Pierre-Laviolette is 2nd in rushing yards with 370 and has scored 4 times along the ground, that's also tied for the league lead. The Thunder lead the PFC in total yards with 1368 and have turned the ball over 5 times.

RIFLES OFFENSE - Winnipeg has scored the 5th most points in 2016 with 61. QB Jamie Ybarra Jr. has thrown for 525 yards, 3 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Brendan Naujoks leads the club with 129 yards receiving and has scored a touchdown. RB Michael Ritchott leads the PFC with 523 rushing yards and has 3 touchdowns. The Rifles are 3rd in total yards with 1250 and have turned the ball over 9 times.

THUNDER DEFENCE - The Thunder have given up 48 points so far this season, 2nd only to the Calgary Colts who have given up 41. Marcus Hall leads the team with 11 tackles, tied 8th in the PFC. DB Polis Koko is tied for the league lead in interceptions with 2 to go along with 9 tackles. Matthew Williams leads the PFC in sacks with 3.5 and also has a fumble recovery. The Thunder have forced 5 total turnovers.

RIFLES DEFENCE - The Rifles have given up the second most points so far this season with 126, one less than the Edmonton Wildcats. Garrett Beady leads the club with 12 tackles, tied 3rd in the league, he also has 0.5 a sack. Stefan Conway and Andrew Ricard one interception each and Hayden Nellis leads the Rifles with 1 sack. Winnipeg has forced 4 total turnovers.

THUNDER SPECIAL TEAMS - Kristiane Desautels leads the PFC with 127 yards in punt returns and holds an 11.5 yard average. He also has 43 yards on kickoff returns. Tyson haubrich leads the team with 100 yards on kickoff returns, that is 4th best in the league. Kris Calcutt has punted 14 times for a 40.1 yard average, the 3rd best in the PFC and he has made 5 of 10 field goals attempted.

RIFLES SPECIAL TEAMS - Kai Madsen leads the team with 39 yards on 9 punt returns. Odin Ogidan is second in PFC kickoff return yards with 134 and a long of 74. Brendan Naujoks has 96 yards on kickoff returns, 5th best in the league. Zach Regert has punted 9 times this year and leads the league with a 43.8 yard average while Ian lee is 4 of 6 kicking field goals.

Kickoff Saturday at Leibel Field is at 7 o'clock.
